Gavin is the Managing Director and Founder of GMC Surveying. Gavin is a Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland. He has led the company over fifteen years to employ more than 50 personnel. Gavin is described as a hands-on professional with over 18 year’s extensive practical experience in the Survey management and successful delivery of resource and infrastructure projects.

Gavin’s diverse range of experience covers small land development projects, low rise building set outs through to major infrastructure.

Projects he has been involved in include:
• Inner Northern Busway Section 3
• Port of Brisbane Terminals 8 & 9
• Curragh North & Curragh North expansion Stage 2
• Dalby Bio Refinery
• Kennedy Highway
• QCLNG Field Compressor and Central Processing Facilities
• APLNG Gas Processing Plants
• GLNG Hub Compressor Stations

Anthony Gray joined the GMC team in 2009 and has over 22 years’ experience in the Surveying Profession in both the private and public sectors.

He is registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Licensed Consulting Surveyor with both Cadastral and Engineering Endorsements and is accredited with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines Queensland to endorse Survey Plans and completed a Graduate Diploma in Surveying Practice and Bachelor or Applied Science (Surveying) from the Queensland University of Technology.

From establishment through to completion he has extensive knowledge and experience, bringing enthusiasm, commitment and a professional manner to ensure your project is completed accurately and efficiently.

His career has seen him work throughout Queensland and Overseas on projects ranging from rural and urban small scale subdivisions through to larger multi-staged and multiple use developments and Large scale Engineering Projects.

He spent 4 years as Survey Manager in the Surat Basin on Subdivisions and Engineering Projects, constructing Water Treatment Plants, Gas Processing Facilities and associated infrastructure.

From Detail surveys to High Accuracy Control Establishment, Civil, Earthworks, Structural, Pipelines and high accuracy mechanical surveys Anthony has the experience and qualifications to ensure your projects achieve their objectives.

David has been working in the Surveying industry for more than 20 years and has a Bachelor Degree in Surveying from USQ. While working for a number of firms on the Sunshine Coast he has gained extensive land surveying experience including but not limited to: cadastral, detail and contour, engineering, as-constructed, civil, hydrographic, and GNSS.

Now a Conondale local, David joined our experience team at Hinterland Surveys in 2022, and has already established himself as a key member of the team.
